I almost named this post Sionara, but I decided that election day was better. I'm working on keeping back my tears while we watch the election results roll across the screen. I feel like I'm watching my freedom go out the window a little bit at a time as each state goes either red or blue. Anyway, congrats to Barack Obama.
Ben and I went to the Dr. today, and I am pleased to say that we only have viral upper resperatory tract infections instead of strep throat. They prescribed us some medicine to help us with our symptoms, and we're excited about that. I bought some fabric today, so I can try to make myself a wrap. (I just bought 5 yards of machine wash and dry fabric, and I'm going to cut the 60 inch wide fabric into three and use a surge stitch on the edges.) I am going to try to sew some tonight. I won't be sleeping very soon.

Ellie I am so sorry you are so bummed. I'm curious to know which specific freedom is going to go out the window. I think you need to go to this webpage (http://abcnews.go.com/2020/stossel) and watch the first video and it will help you feel better!
Barack Obama wants to fund a bunch of social programs. If he sticks to his tax plans, and he taxes the big corporations (which include corporate farms) then they have to pass on the taxes in their products. The price of food is going to rise significantly. That won't stay good for long,, so he's going to have to slash the military to have a balanced budget. With no military and the world bickering in its best fashion, we're going to have a problem. If he decides not to fund the military, then when it comes time to fight for our freedom, there will be no one to fight.
No one is looking at the problems with China right now and there are some big problems with Iran. What freedoms will we have if China wins?
