The NaBloPoMo

So, I've seen NaBloPoMo around in many places, and I never knew what it meant. I finally looked it up on the internet. It means that a blogger posts every day for a month. So, for the month of November, my goal is to do one blog post every day. Some of them may be dumb, and some of them may be great, but I think that this will make me a better writer, and it will help me be a better journal writer. :) So, look forward to a post a day *crossing fingers* starting November 1.

Good for you!

I did NaBlo last year right after I started blogging and it was very helpful. I had some ridiculous posts, but I made some good bloggy friends.

I should've signed up for this when I was blogging every single day. Good luck with it, though. I know it can be hard to think of thirty good topics (or even thirty topics).

What a great idea Ellie. I'm excited to see the things you'll post. :)

Laura,

I would say that if you're really worried about it, plan a party and have some candy at your house. Let the other neighborhood kids, whose parents you know, come and bring candy too. I don't think that you can really ever "over worry" about having your kids getting sick, but if they do go door to door, I would suggest that you check all your candy. Stay away from the Pirate coins this year. Canada is pulling them because they have melamine. But only let your kids eat things that are in packages completely sealed, and only go to the doors of the houses where you know the parents. That seems like the safest bet to me. Good luck with your Halloween!
