Memories

My friend Katie has this on her blog, and I thought it looked fun, so I'm playing along.

So here's how it works...
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

So there you have it! Post away! Oh,and if you don't "know" me well enough to have a memory, feel free to use anything you've read here. A favorite post you've read, etc. that way everyone can play!

just one memory. Come one we went to 5-12 grades and some college together, that isn't fair. I do have to say that you saved me in High School by taking me home for lunch so often. The cafeteria food was horrible!!! We were like sisters in High School and it was great to be together. Thanks.

LE LE LE..... I have so many memories together with you. From when we lived together to our conversations the summer before we both got married. I think though one of my favorites has to be when we were really little and we used to "slide" down the laundry shoot at Granny and Grandad's. Or the time that Matt Brown, you and I spent together just hanging out. I am so blessed that I got to be your cousin. Thank you for so many memories

Oh, how to choose...I guess one time that I always will remember is when You, Emily, and I went to Snow College with your mom for the Ambasador scholorship. We went to a play about the Unsinkable Molly Brown, and took a tour of campus. It was so much fun to talk, and plan life, and be excited about growing up. I also remember how much I loved your mom during that trip. She is so wonderful, and I really got to know her as we drove there and back. I just remember that life was staring us in the face, and we had big plans about what was going to happen, though most of those changed since then, it was just an awesome time, and it was nice to share it with you.

I remember meeting you for the first time at the church when I attended services with Kim, Eric and Tolina. You came up to me and shared what your friendship with Kimberley meant to you. I thought that was so special and I was so glad Kim had a friend that felt so valued you went out of your way to share with me. Thank you for being such a good friend to my daughter!

If I had to choose just one memory, it would almost certainly have to be the first time we went to Temple Square together. That entire day, which we spent with two other couples who were also married soon after, was a truly sweet experience. I was not certain at the time I would ever see you again, but I was filled with hope that it would be the case. I remember how beautiful you were to me - not that you are any less beautiful to me now, it just stands out as part of the memory - and how wonderful it was to just be with you. Thanks for marrying me.

I have lots of memories of you, but one thing that always makes me think about you is when I hear someone say, "Smile Big." You love to smile and you seem to enjoy life.

I remember you mowing our lawn when we lived in Rochester and you ran as you mowed the lawn. You got your exercise in that way as well as doing something that needed to be done.

I love you! Smile Big!

Ellie,
It is crazy to pick just one favorite memory, because I have had so much fun going to lunch with you!! I think the coolest memory that I have is not just one time but over and over how you share your testimony with me in small ways every time we get together. I really appreciate that! I like hanging out with you because I always feel up lifted.
Kim

PS I passed my Patho class that you convinced me to stay in, with a C!!!

You just have to say XC and a flood of memories come back. From state XC traditions. Do you remember the golf course runs with Sandford and he would have riddles for us to try to figure out?

I don't know if this is my favorite, but it is the most recent, and certainly a fond memory. I really had a good time in Boston in at the beach. It was so cute seeing Ben and my kids playing in the water. I was so glad you could come. That was a really fun trip.

What nice comments!

I don't know you personally, so I don't have any memories, per se. And everyone else said such nice things that now I'm keeping myself from making all kinds of snarky comments about how I remember when you used to post.

Oops. One more snuck out. :) But you're preggers with two toddlers, so I'll cut you some slack. :) But we do miss you!
