The thing I loved about both of them is that the parent/child thing was that the love just poured out of both stories. Funny how we both wrote about the bond between parent and child. I loved hers and think she should have won. Had I been more on the ball, I would have voted for her:)I loved the beautiful images it gave. I think that while I don't personally have a relationship with nursing I can connect with that feeling of bonding. I think that is something all parents can relate to on some level; knowing that you can provide that special thing that no one else can, be it nursing like the story, or just a true sence of security, or comfort, whatever, there is a special thing that happens between parent and child, and she captured that.
